You can insure all vehicles that are already registered quickly and easily online.
As a general rule, the earlier you opt for the Premium extended warranty, the cheaper the premium. Secure a price advantage of up to 30% in the first three months after initial registration1.

- You enjoy protection against unexpected repair costs after the two-year manufacturer's warranty has expired
- The warranty extension covers the full repair costs within the agreed total mileage - without excess
- In principle, all material and workmanship defects are covered - similar to what you are used to with the factory warranty. The only exceptions are the warranty against paint defects, the warranty against rust penetration and the warranty for the high-voltage battery2
- Your Volkswagen is repaired in workshops recognized by the manufacturer
- The Premium extended warranty is a good additional argument in the event of a subsequent sale: it remains with the vehicle and can be taken over by a private vehicle buyer
Conditions and options
- Entry is possible up to a vehicle age of two years and a maximum of 100,000 kilometers (provided that the prescribed maintenance intervals have been adhered to so far)
- Choose between one, two or three additional years for the term
- The total mileage can be selected up to a maximum of 200,000 kilometers
- You pay individual premiums, graduated according to vehicle model, time of conclusion of the warranty extension, term and agreed total mileage of the vehicle
- Following the warranty extension, your contract automatically switchesto a one-year functional warranty. When taking over a leased vehicle, written information about the vehicle purchase is required for the warranty extension to continue
