The new Tiguan

Order the 3rd generation now

Pre-sales of the new Tiguan are finally starting in Europe. The third generation of the Volkswagen SUV has been completely redesigned and improved in all areas: new hybrid drives with a purely electric range of around 100 km make the SUV more efficient than ever before. A new and consistently self-explanatory cockpit landscape brings even more digital services and apps on board. The latest generation of Park Assist automates parking and reversing. The new adaptive chassis "DCC Pro" perfects comfort and dynamics. Features such as a pneumatic massage function for the front seats and the likewise new "IQ.LIGHT - HD Matrix headlights" have been derived from the Touareg luxury class model. The basic Tiguan version with a 96 kW (130 PS) 48V mild hybrid drive starts at prices from 36,600 euros.

The new Tiguan

The new Tiguan stands out with its elegant and dynamic exterior design. Large air intakes, a slim radiator grille and a redesigned light signature characterize the front. Flowing lines and strong proportions give the body a sporty silhouette. The interior has also been upgraded and welcomes you with innovative equipment and options, such as the new ambient lighting, the larger display and an optimized operating concept includingan intelligent digital voice assistant .

DESIGN : Typical Tiguan, typical Volkswagen and yet completely new is the striking design with a higher and powerful-looking front section. Integrated here: the standard LED headlights. Between them, a glass-covered crossbar with an optionally integrated LED strip replaces the classic radiator grille. The Tiguan is optionally available with new "IQ.LIGHT - HD matrix headlights"; the high-tech lighting system with 38,400 multi-pixel LEDs was derived from the Touareg.
Modern cockpit design: Volkswagen has also completely redeveloped the interior of the Tiguan. With its high quality of materials and workmanship, it leaves the usual class limits behind. In addition, the components of the new Modular Infotainment Matrix merge into a clearly designed cockpit landscape - intuitively operable and consistently networked. The modules include the new "Digital Cockpit" (anti-glare digital instruments in tablet landscape format), a large infotainment screen with a completely new menu structure and graphics (standard display: 12.9 inches, optional 15 inches), another new head-up display (projections on the windscreen) and a new, multifunctional driving experience switch with integrated OLED display.
Efficient drives - eHybrid, eTSI, TSI and TDI. The new Tiguan will be available with eight different mild hybrid (eTSI), plug-in hybrid (eHybrid), turbocharged petrol (TSI) and turbodiesel (TDI) drive systems. Two new 48V mild hybrid drives are available to order directly; the eTSI models deliver 96 kW (130 PS) and 110 kW (150 PS) and feature automatic cylinder deactivation (ACT). Both Tiguan eTSI combine their high efficiency with excellent starting performance. The new Tiguan can also be configured directly with a 110 kW (150 PS) TDI. The other drive versions will be launched in 2024, including the Tiguan's newly developed plug-in hybrid drives with purely electric ranges of around 100 km. Thanks to the long electric range and a new DC fast-charging function with up to 50 kW, the SUV as an eHybrid becomes an electric car in everyday life.
